This weekend we celebrated my son’s 1/2 birthday. I know I know you are saying 1/2 birthday! But when you are an event planner you enjoy celebrating and styling at every opportunity. My son, Mason, loves LOVES to dance! It’s one of his favorite activities to do with Dad (mom can’t dance), so this was an easy theme to design. I also decided I would use simple but bold colors, black, gray, white, and green! I think the green was just perfect!
Here are a few photos:
We used a vendor from Etsy:Bites Baked Goods. We loved plating these on white serving dishes along side “drums” made from our Mint oreos.
Cake! We loved what Chickadee Hill Cakes did for us. Since it was a half birthday we wanted half the cake!!! Love how this came out
The table also included guitar strings from black licorice, and drum sticks from pretzels and and marshmallows, and printables from yours truly.
Easter is just a few weeks away. Time to start prepping Easter Dinner, your Sunday best, dessert, and most importantly how will you decorate. I’m 1 for 4! I started my Easter decorating with these adorable little bunny garland; which are now in my shop. I love them so much because they can be used down the road for a baby shower, birthday, Easters to come, or to even go along with my ‘Some Bunny’ printable invitation and deluxe party kit.
I know, I know! There is still snow on the ground and how can I be possibly be thinking about Spring Cleaning! Can you tell I am super excited about warmer weather coming to New England? At the beginning of each month (March 1st is tomorrow) I tend to do a little de-cluttering. I make sure everything is in its homes or has a home for that matter, sell or donate things I haven’t used, and make sure I am not buying anything new unless it has a home.
I am super excited to use my new chevron stationery to help me keep track of the things I need to do to keep organized! I live for lists so this was the perfect Freebie to give to my followers. I hope as you prepare to get ready for spring you will use the stationery to help you alone your goals.
The design details: 7 Colors, Red, Tangerine, Yellow, Green, Blue, Shocking(Pink), Grape. Designed as 3.75″ x 9″ and ready to print 2 to a page. Print as often as you need! I added a space for Date so that you can keep track what list you are working on!

It’s not even March and we have another Freebie for you!!! St. Patrick’s Day is in just a couple of weeks and is often times forgotten when it comes to decorating as it falls in between two other fun holidays: Valentine’s Day or Easter, so I wanted to give all my followers an easy way to decorate with this freebie so that we can all have a little “Luck of the Irish” near by.
I love this freebie for two reasons: 1) I recently started adding sparkle to some of my stationery; which you can see in this freebie. The circles in this banner are sparkly gold adding a little more detail. 2) I thought about my former student staff when I worked in Higher Education who had to change their bulletin boards monthly. I rarely provided them with printables, so I hope they make there way here and take advantage of this printable to use on their bulletin boards.
Enjoy this freebie of 5×5 square Happy St. Patrick’s Day banner. Valentine’s Day cards/tags. First visit me at my Facebook Page and “like” my page then head back here to download the free printable. You will be able to print as many times as you need. (**Note the file with Y and a shamrock will need to be printed twice for the word Happy and Day)
We have added a new invite to our shop: Our Little Man is Turning One. The little guy in the picture is my adorable son at his photo shoot with the talented (Nora and Troy Photography). I’m absolutely in love with everything about this invite. From the chevron to the washi tape the mustache and of course the model!
This invite can be tailored for any event from Birthday to Baby Shower. We look forward to share with you the whole series next week! In the mean time visit often to look at this inspiration!
Although I live in New England I’m not all that in love with winter and the snow. I have been thinking about these birthday printable set “Some Bunny is Turning…” for some time now. I’m so excited they are now available in my shop. The set can be customized for a birthday, baby shower, or even Easter.
I absolutely adore the colors mint and pink and which in my opinion make an amazing coordinating match for this set. I also offer additional add ons such as printable pinwheels.
The set includes the following:
-Favor (Flag Style) tags (2 designs)
– Water Labels (2 colors)
– Cupcake toppers (designed in 4 designs; 2.5 squares for easy to trim using variety of punches)
– Solid Straw Flags (2 colors)
– Table Tents (2 colors)
– Party Hats (2 colors; you can add any of the cupcake topper as additional decor)
– Cupcake wrappers (2 colors)

It’s a perfect match. Pick up delicious cupcakes on your way from home and top it off with a cupcake topper. OR contact us in advance for personalized and customized toppers!
One of the newest trends in events are serving your guests cupcakes versus having a traditional cake. This way you can provide a variety of flavors OR top off a cake with a cupcake displaying your new initials with customized topper. We also love the bride and groom toppers; which are a great little detail for a sweetheart table or a candy table.
We look forward to this relationship and bringing you trendy details to your upcoming events!
If you hadn’t heard we had a blizzard hit New England and fortunately it all ended well here in New Hampshire. I was even able to tackle a project I had on my mind for sometime now. I had purchased the supplies for as soon as the valentine’s candy hit the stores, so I’m so happy I was able to finish it (right in time for Valentine’s Day).
Back when I was in college I was one of those students that took FULL advantage of every last event offered. One of my favorite offerings was Weekend Crafts with Linda Wooster (via QU Athletics). She offered the best DIY projects (cupcake decorating, card making, candy wreaths, etc). I may have been the first student to sign up for each of her events. I’d like to dedicate this post to her!
So here is my first attempt at a short tutorial called DIY Valentine’s Day Candy Wreath.
Supplies-first you will need to purchase the following supplies:
– Candy ( 2 bags would be great, but remember I told you that I purchased the candy right when it hit the stores…. well as a result only 1.5 bags were left by the time I started this project).
– Ribbon ( 5 feet recommended)
– Wreath – any shape. I looked for a heart shape, but I couldn’t find them this year. (straw- is the least expensive and the most effective( leave the plastic on so you don’t have a big mess).
– Florist greening pins ( you can find them at any stores that sell floral arrangement supplies).
2. Take your ribbon and wrap it around the wreath. Use the gardening pins to secure the ribbon. I like to fold the edges over to prevent any flaring showing after you remove the candy.
3. Then you can begin attaching the candy you selected to the wreath. I suggest threading up to three pieces to one gardening pin.
4. Once you are done layering your candy go around the wreath one more time to make sure all the candy is attached and pins aren’t showing.
5. Its time to tie your bow…. I used a different color ribbon thinking that at the end when all the candy is gone I’d like to have some contrast on the wreath.
6. I then decided to tie a loop on top to make hanging easier. I think this project took me no more then 20 minutes from start to finish. The bigger the wreath and the smaller the candy the longer the project.
I can’t wait to share this with my hubby on Valentine’s Day. I just hope he doesn’t read this between now and then : )
No I am not pregnant! But you or someone you know may be and that’s why you are reading this post. I was looking at a few pictures back from when my son was born and remember feeling extremely unable to complete a simple task never mind send out birth announcements. My son was born toward the end of September and we sent our announcements combined with Thanksgiving Cards in early November.
So over the weekend I decided to combine our Nursery Prints with a Birth Announcement that I think would be so adorable to send out to family and friends or even to post on social media outlets such as Facebook because you know its not “official” until its on Facebook. This new announcement, in my shop, provides your new bundle of joy’s birthing stats in a poster style format. Colors and wording can be customized.
So if you are pregnant it may be a good time to start thinking about sif you want to send out announcements and in what format. If you decide to have professional photos taken make sure you receive express permission from your photographer in order to use the photo in future stationery pieces.
If you don’t see what you are looking for in our shop I would love for you to email me to discuss custom design options.
I love giving away freebies!!! With Valentine’s Day fast approaching and many of my followers prepping to send their little one’s to school with treats and cards to hand out to their classmates and teachers I wanted to give away something you can use while pulling together these items.
